Sarah is one of the rare poets who can capture the commonly known magic of love, translate it to the written word, and create something entirely fresh and new. Behind Her City Eyes takes readers to a place both familiar and unexplored, comforting and exhilarating.

By: The Lantern Carrier
Your poetry is sweetness that inclines itself to the reader's soul. It is Peace and rhythm and melody all in one. Each poem read is a story and takes the listener/reader on a journey to one's own Paradise or inner sanctum. It is truly a joy to hear and read your poetry.

This collection is a powerfully detailed account of the rise and fall of a relationship, and the socio-psychological impact of betrayal and dishonesty. It is unflinchingly honest and raw...the work seems to be personal and confessional... the execution is masterful with allegorical sub-themes... the use of formatting is excellent, and in contrast to many modern poetry collections, never superfluous.

...Her poetry holds a sobering light on experiences with how we relate to and view ourselves and others by exploring mental health and mental illness, listening to and understanding our inner voices and critics, and revisiting the traumatic experiences that shaped parts of who we are in order to heal. The author does not shy away from showing the messiness of this process, a refrshing take for readers who wish to find poetry that does not sugar-coat such difficult subjects.

Opening of ones soul through poetry to show the world what true love is, is beautiful in of itself, but to have a father and son come together to create such a wonderful book of their love is immeasurable.

...the raw, unadulterated honesty of the poems usher the reader on a journey through the trials of life. Through direct, leaning phrasing, in an elegant structure, this book is a juggernaut of heartbreak, unrequited love, and introspective soul searching. Loose Change is an unflinching examination of turmoil in the human inner landscape.

With his poetry, Pelle manages to pull me inside his head and look at the world through his eyes - it feels real and it feels like being right there, inside his mental harddisk.
The way he uses words to describe what he sees and feels, using metaphors to paint an inner visual picture, is so colourful and full of life that you cannot help but have little short films running in front of your inner eye.
It was difficult to put Pelle’s poems aside and focus on other things. I had to go back and finish reading it all, until there were no more poems to read. For a first time published poet, I am deeply impressed with the quality of his poems, as well as the way I was hooked from the very first poem.

Reading 'My Fears Out Loud' is an experience unlike any other. Mesmerizing, hard-hitting, and terrifyingly beautiful, it strikes home with such brutal honesty and tender vulnerability all at once. ...Even as she acknowledges the almost unfathomable human capacity for cruelty, greed, narcissism, & ignorance, it opens up a door towards the light of redemption and beckons you toward it. The vision that this book epitomizes finds peace and wisdom in the sanctity of life. All life is equal and transcends the artifice of hierarchy. Maureen's vision is deeply humbling. This is why it is so urgently necessary."

An iterative book, something like an ouroboros, 4 poems called 'On Death: with Fairouz Playing in the Background' all very different but circling. At times whispering inferiority, at times clinical, at times, it seems, shouting. Eddye Aziz uses the full register of the human voice. This is what characterizes this collection: profound humanity. Eddye asserts his religion is love, and this collection is a kind of prayer to that faith.

Greg Michaels' 'Urban Cowboy Poetry' is [a] hayride of hilarity, a raucous romp through urban legends told cowboy style. For years, I've enjoyed each of the many opportunities I've had to hear Greg share his poems at events around town. So I'm delighted, of course, that his best work has finally been collected into this fine volume. The tales he tells never grow tired. They've made me gasp, chuckle, snort, stomp my feet and chortle uncontrollably. So belly up to the campfire of your choice and grab yourself this heaping helping of Greg's unique and joyous work.

Was by Elizabeth Ouzts is a daring collection of poetry spanning more than thirty years. At once ephemeral, vibrant and liminal, her work conjures vivid moments and exalts in memory. Surprising juxtaposition and start imagery make these poems dance. Both lyrical and narrative, from the first-person point of view and the third, this collection...delves into themes such as existence and non-existence, memory, mental health, regular life and moments of joy, the storms and the telephone poles, the fairies of childhood just out of reach.
